Hi, I’m Lawrie, also known online as Pocketank, and I’m the person behind MegaGlitch.

MegaGlitch is a UK gaming competition website built by gamers, for gamers. The idea has always been pretty simple: give people the chance to get their hands on genuinely desirable gaming hardware without needing to spend hundreds or thousands of pounds buying it outright.

Built Around Gaming

I’ve been gaming for most of my life and I know how quickly the cost of keeping up with new hardware can add up. Gaming PCs, consoles, handhelds, monitors, headsets, sim racing equipment and all the other bits that go into a great setup are not cheap.

That is why MegaGlitch focuses on gaming products we would actually want to own ourselves, rather than filling the site with random prizes just for the sake of having more competitions.

A New Focus on Instant Wins

MegaGlitch has evolved considerably since it first launched. Our current competitions are focused on Instant Wins, giving you the chance to know immediately whether your ticket has won a prize.

When your ticket numbers are issued, they are checked automatically against the available Instant Win numbers for that competition. If you hit a winning number, you know straight away and you will also receive confirmation by email.

There is no final draw to wait for on our current Instant Win competitions. The Instant Win table updates automatically as prizes are won, so you can see what is still available while the competition is running.

More Chances to Win

Rather than building every competition around one winner and one prize, many of our competitions feature multiple Instant Win prizes.

That means a single competition can have dozens of winning ticket numbers spread throughout the available ticket pool, with prizes being won throughout the competition rather than everything depending on one final draw.

Low Ticket Prices

We want MegaGlitch competitions to be accessible, which is why many of our tickets cost only a few pence each.

You decide how many tickets you want to enter with, and larger entries may also qualify for volume discounts where these are offered on the competition page.

Transparency Matters

We want it to be easy to understand what you are entering and what prizes remain available.

Competition pages clearly show the ticket price, available Instant Win prizes, current competition period and other important information before you enter. Instant Win results are updated automatically as winning numbers are issued.

What Happens When a Competition Ends?

Our current Instant Win competitions operate in 7-day periods. If Instant Win prizes remain when the current period reaches the end of its countdown, the competition automatically continues for a further 7 days.

Tickets already issued remain valid and prizes already won remain won. The competition simply continues with the remaining Instant Win prizes still available.

MegaGlitch covers much more than gaming PCs. Our competitions can include consoles, gaming handhelds, PC hardware, headsets, gaming furniture, sim racing equipment, VR hardware and other gaming technology.
